Father has to take bath in river by blowing water and Pithrukkal will be happy on seeing it,says sasthra

Father will chant manthras of Agni Bhagavan to purify the Child . The power of Agni will remove all ‘asudham’ or dirt from baby. Manthra chanted will also remove all ‘Balarishtam’ (Disturbance for very young children). It will remove both mental and physical disturbances .

Dharma Sasthra has given preference to attain both mental and physical comfort, growth and maturity with the help of getting devatha anugraha by chanting Veda Manthras. Father will chant the manthra with meaning “You have to be strong like stone”. “The emotions should not overcome you” . “You have to face enemies and blow from outside like ” parasu ( Kodali)” . Manthra with meaning “I am showing my love towards you” is chanted and father will gently pat on child’s forehead and will smell the Brahmarabdhram ( that is in utchanthalai). In right ear , father will say the name of nakshathram . The child is hearing the nakshathra said by father first and nakshathram is the first identification for child..

. Mixture of “Curd and Ghee ” and “Honey and Ghee ” will be applied in tongue of child.It is for the brain development of child and manthra with those meaning will be chanted at that time .Ayurveda said “kahba” disease will come very fast for child . Honey and ghee will be applied in child’s tongue through a gold ring immersed in it . Honey will cut down phlem and Energy will come through ghee. “ Curd is for the good growth of muscles in the body . Then facing the east , mother will feed the Child and father will Chant manthra to get Deerkayusue , Varchas , Yesas , balam . Child will be kept in earth to make the child pure . When the child sleeps, there are negative forces which disturb him . To protect the child from it , water will be kept in kumbham and will be rotated around the head by chanting manthras

Suddenly child will cry , after drinking milk child will vomit ,like this there are many problems . These are all different “graha peeta “and child dont know how to tell about this . Hence treatment is not possible. Bhaleekarana Homam will be done as a remedy for this .Ayurveda also recommends the “Bhaleekarana homam” for the protection of the child from Negative forces and Graha Peeta

“Thavidu” and “kadudku” will be taken in a “Murum” as “Murum “ is sudham as it contains the “gomayam”. “Kadauku” will remove “rekshobadai” and “thavidu” will remove the” durdevatha” or negative forces. Bhaelekarana Homam will be done with these 2 materials . 20 Homam will be done . .In this homam the prayer goes to Vayu Bhagavan to stop the negative forces travelling by air and also to arrest the disease spreading through air which will affect the child very quickly . Danam will be also given .
