Laksha Pasupu kommula Nomu
This is a very popular ritual followed by Telugu communities. One worships Shri Maha Lakshmi, Shri Gauri or some other goddess with enough Kumkuma, with a one lakh unborken turmeric pieces. Those Turmeric Pieces and saffron are taken and distributed among as many neigbour houses as on can. Equal quantity & equal weight of Turmeric Pieces are distributed to all. Sufficient Kumkuma is also given.
Description
Procedure — Recite the above story every day for six months and pour few Akshintalu(grains of rice mixed with turmeric or saffron used for blessings or salutations) on your head. On the first day of the seventh month Udyapan (Udyapan is a ritual which is performed on the end of fasts(vrat)) should be done
