Maha Lingarchana is performing the pooja to 365 Mruthika Linga (Putta mannu linga) to please Lord Shiva. Deities are Ashtadikpalakas, Ashta Ganapathi, Dakshina Murthy, Trishulas, Maha Lingam, Yama, Chitragupta, Tandaveshvars, etc. arranged in a prescribed manner known as “Kailasa Yantra Prastaram” and an idol of Sri Ganesha.

Pooja is done for each lingam, then abhishekam is performed with panchamirtham. Also, the abhishekam is done using different fruit juices. 

When to Perform Maha Lingarchana?

Schedule the pooja date on Mondays, Shravan, Karthik months, or any auspicious date that is compatible with Janma Nakshatra.
